Ilm Ka Aangan (The Learning Courtyard) Magazine – Making great reading material for children
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TCF began publishing an edutainment magazine, IIm ka Aangan (‘The Learning Courtyard’) for primary and secondary school learners to promote distance learning and reduce education loss for when students eventually returned to their classrooms.
Copies of the magazine, which include math quizzes, riddles and stories, are collected every fortnight by TCF students and parents from school campuses across our network.
The tailored magazine is available to all students for the next two to three years as part of TCF’s promise to provide quality education to children across Pakistan.
Every issue of the IIm ka Aangan magazine is reviewed and edited by Salim Mughal – the Ex-Editor-in-Chief of Hamdard Naunehal, a children’s magazine established in Pakistan in 1953.
Over 182,000 copies of each issue are being distributed in Urdu and Sindhi languages. It is also being ordered by 96+ branches of over 21 other low-cost school systems.
