The ‘141 Schools for Peace’ is an initiative of The Citizens Foundation (TCF), in partnership with the 141Schools.org project. It is a global commitment to build 141 school-units across Pakistan in memory of each of the innocent victims of the Peshawar school attack.

There can be no deeper sorrow than the passing of a child and our hearts go out to the bereaved families who have been touched by this horrific event. We strongly condemn this act of terrorism and renew our commitment to fighting ignorance and intolerance in all its forms.

This is a defining moment in Pakistan’s history. With the formidable challenges facing the nation, we passionately believe that only education has the power to enlighten minds, instill citizenship and unleash the potential of every Pakistani.

We call upon all our supporters and indeed, aware and concerned people across the world, to step forward to support the movement to educate Pakistan!

Each school will be dedicated to one of the children or teachers who perished on the 16th of December and will serve as a beacon of light resisting the advance of extremism in our society.

How can you help this movement?
